With structured wiring you can watch Sky from any room but can you watch different Sky programs in different rooms, like you can with Sky Multiroom?
I’m afraid not.
To watch different Sky programs in different rooms you will need additional Sky boxes. There is no way around this unfortunately. Each Sky box can only output one channel at a time and this includes Sky+ boxes (and +HD) even though they can record another channel at the same time.

Should I have Sky Digital/Sky+ or Virgin Media (Cable) installed?
This will depend on your location, service provision and personal choice. Some areas are not covered by cable services and other areas do not allow positioning of satellite dishes (e.g. in a conservation area). Where there is a choice, take a look at these companies’ websites to make a comparison.

What is better: 1080i or 1080p?
1080i is the number of horizontal lines that make up a picture on a HD-TV. The ‘i’means interlaced where each odd line is ‘drawn’ on to the screen from top left to bottom right – and then each even line.
The ‘p’ in 1080 means progressive and are vertical lines of resolution drawn on to the screen in sequence. Although both 1080i and 1080p have the same resolution (1920 × 1080) since progressive scanning refreshes each line every time it produces a better picture. 1080p is sometimes referred to as ‘full HD’ (full high definition) or ‘Complete High-Definition’
